Course Titles

These are the courses taught in the MDC:

  • Christian Leadership, Pastoral Counseling, Homiletics, Christian Ethics
  • Spiritual Disciplines, Introduction to Missions, Evangelism & Discipleship, Church Administration
  • History of the Christian Church, History, Structure, and Government of the Church of God, Christian Education, Hispanic Context in the United States

What is the MDC structure?

The program consists of 16 core courses. Each course is passed with 70 points, having met all attendance and class participation requirements. At the end, a Certificate in Christian Ministries is awarded at a solemn graduation ceremony.

Who are the teachers?

The instructors are men and women of God, with the spirituality, academic standing, ministerial experience, teaching ability, the recommendation of their Pastor and District Supervisor, and a mastery of the subject they teach.

Who may attend?

Those wishing to study must be faithful members of a church, have a written recommendation from their pastor, have completed elementary school (exceptions may apply), have completed their local church's Discipleship program, complete the admission application, and attach a sheet briefly describing when and how their conversion occurred.

Other details

Students must also purchase their textbook and make their contribution two weeks before the start of each course.
